About Lorna; Born of Jamaican parentage both my parents were born on this fabulous Island. I am a mum of two wonderful children. Both my children inspire me every day and I love them more than words can say.
"I graduated from Southwark College in Art and Design and later went on to graduate from Middlesex University with a BA Hons Degree in Business Studies with Race and Culture. Having ventured into other business and creative professions including theatre, I hadn't painted for many years until again 2008 when my urge to paint again became overwhelming. Mainly self-taught I enjoy exploring the versatility of the mediums I use to create. I predominantly work with acrylics on canvas which I love for its vibrancy of colour. Oils are now a new medium for me which I am enjoying exploring! My subjects vary from tropical landscapes , portraits, to the abstract.I now also offer services as a storyboard artist "
My main professional duties include :
Producer artistic director, freelance stage manager , choreographer, events and designer. "It is my many creative skills and performing arts experiences that credit me as a Creative Consultant. I trained in modern jazz and tap dance among other disciplines from the age of seven and I have worked on a number of events and shows both on stage and screen as an actress and dancer over the years. Also stage managed a number of shows within theatre and community events."
